TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. That last detail matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform this new, the breadth is solid. What You Trade OnThey offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.CostsThree account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.Execution SpeedThis is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity. The FSRA QuestionHere is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.Welcome OfferTabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit. The complete breakdown, with the full fee table, websiteclick here withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is at trade tab tradetheday.com.
