Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
